IT Director Services

The City is seeking a vendor to provide IT Director services to deliver strategic leadership, vision, and direction for the city’s enterprise technology operations, digital services, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and innovation initiatives. This role reports to the Deputy City Administrator and focuses on building internal technical maturity and operational rigor while collaborating with city departments to modernize business processes, improve operational efficiency, and align technology investments with organizational goals. The selected partner must lead enterprise-wide technology strategy, cybersecurity governance, infrastructure modernization, data management, business continuity, project and performance management, and digital transformation initiatives. The scope of work requires the IT Director to oversee daily operations, establish work priorities, allocate resources, and evaluate operational performance and service delivery outcomes. The provider must direct enterprise infrastructure, cloud and hybrid environments, server and network architecture, and enterprise applications to ensure the reliability, security, scalability, and resilience of critical systems. Additionally, the role demands executive leadership for enterprise cybersecurity programs, including risk management, threat assessments, incident response planning, and compliance with applicable laws and industry standards. The City requires all performance of the work to be conducted onsite. Eligible vendors must be located onshore within the United States.
