The government authority located in Washington is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive insurance brokerage and risk management services. The agency needs assistance with managing approximately 2,120 claims and lawsuits filed annually against the county and its employees. The selected partner will develop and implement loss prevention and control programs, manage enterprise risk, and handle claims assistance and administration. The scope of work covers property and casualty insurance programs, workers’ compensation, airport general liability, aircraft liability and hull coverage, and cyber liability. The agency requires general property and casualty broker services, including the marketing, placement, and administration of applicable surety bonds that the county purchases and maintains. Additionally, the service provider must deliver educational and informational services alongside advocacy services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of the work to be conducted offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget. The contract period will span five years.
