Workers Compensation Third Party Claims Administration Services

The county is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive workers compensation third party claims administration services. The selected administrator will handle claimant recorded statements, establish contact with treating physicians within twenty-four hours of an incident, and deliver narrative summaries on major claims every three months. The scope of work also requires reducing medical bills to the State fee schedule, managing all subrogation and Second Injury Fund activities, and preparing all State-mandated reports. To ensure proper oversight and communication, the administrator must notify insurers of all potential excess claims and participate in quarterly meetings with the county. The service provider must also generate and distribute monthly loss reports to both the county and the county's designated consultant. The county is establishing a contract term of one year for these services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The county permits the performance of all contracted work to be conducted offsite. The county is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-set funding limit.
