Architectural and Engineering Services

The City of Rockville, Maryland, is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services. The agency requires these professional services to address various project tasks, which include conducting evaluations, investigations, analysis, engineering computations, testing, reports, and studies. The selected contractor will also develop recommendations, cost and time estimates, designs, bid specifications, bid tabulations, and field inspections. The scope of work demands professional involvement throughout all phases of each issued Project Task Order. The agency requires the contractor to develop programs, obtain necessary permits and authorizations, prepare periodic progress reports, and handle all components of construction administration and dispute resolution. Additionally, the contractor must conduct public presentations to staff, elected or appointed officials, and residents, while managing all project correspondence and material submittals. The agency requires all design and review documents, reports, and project correspondence to be delivered to the designated Project Manager in the specified format and quantity. Within thirty days of project completion, the contractor must submit a Project Completion Report along with all project closeout documents. The agency requires the preparation of drawings in an up-to-date AutoCAD version and data formatted for ArcGIS. Only United States organizations are eligible to bid on this opportunity, and the contractor must perform all work onsite in Rockville, Maryland. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for these services.
