The City of Montgomery, Ohio, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive correctional medical, dental, and psychiatric care, along with related program support services. The agency requires a system that delivers standards-based physical and behavioral health care using nationally recognized correctional health care best practices. The scope of work covers strategic operational planning, ongoing medical and administrative consultation, and the development and maintenance of a written health care plan. The selected vendor must provide intake screening coverage, crisis stabilization services, and efficient processing of inmates at intake, throughout incarceration, and at release. The agency requires full 24-hour staffing utilizing only properly licensed, certified, and professionally trained personnel, which must include 24-hour on-call physician coverage. The project requires the maintenance of complete, accurate, and secure electronic health records. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States, and the performance of the work will take place offsite. The agency is requesting proposals to establish the budget for a contract period lasting three years. The agency has scheduled a mandatory pre-bid meeting for May 4, 2026.
