Legislative Audit and Accounting Services

The Alaska State Legislature in Juneau, Alaska is seeking an independent vendor to provide legislative audit and accounting services. The agency requires an independent audit on the financial statements of the Legislature, along with financial statement presentation. Additionally, the selected vendor must provide a management letter covering any significant exceptions to the existing system of internal controls discovered during the review. The scope of work also includes providing up to ten hours of advice and consultation per fiscal year audit. This consultation will cover internal accounting controls, financial statement presentation, interpretation of Government Accounting Standards Board statements, taxation issues, and other professional releases. The agency is issuing a contract with a duration of one year, and the performance of all work must occur offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. Bidders must submit their proposals physically by courier or post, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted to the agency no later than June 12, 2026.
