The South Carolina Department of Public Health is seeking comprehensive newborn screening statewide courier services to support specimen transport and multi-endpoint distribution. The agency requires reliable, trackable, and time-sensitive pickup and delivery services connecting thirty-eight birthing hospitals to a primary drop-off location in Cayce, South Carolina, as well as a secondary drop-off location if requested. This service solves the critical logistical challenge of transporting time-sensitive newborn screening specimens safely and efficiently from medical facilities across the state to the central testing authority. Bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States to be eligible for this contract. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project.
