Outsourced Accounting and Financial Services

The Lake George, New York government authority is seeking an outsourced accounting and financial services contractor. This partner will assist during the agency's transition to in-house financial management and provide ongoing core accounting services. The agency has already conducted a preliminary needs assessment and software research to prepare for this shift. The scope of work covers financial transition and advisory services, starting with an assessment of current financial records, accounts, and documentation. The selected contractor will guide the agency on accounting software selection, configuration, implementation, and staff onboarding. Additionally, the contractor will train staff on adopted systems, identify compliance gaps or risks associated with the transition, and advise the executive director on financial management best practices for state and federal funded programs. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The contractor will perform all work offsite over a contract period of two years. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 3, 2026.
