Occupational Health Services

The Township of Wayne, New Jersey is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive occupational health services for its government authority. The agency needs to establish a program for conducting pre-employment physicals and screenings to evaluate candidates for various municipal roles. These services will help the agency ensure that incoming personnel are medically fit to perform their duties safely and effectively. The scope of work covers three distinct categories of pre-employment examinations based on the job classification. For white-collar clerical positions, the required exam consists of a medical history and physical exam, an audiogram, a basic eye exam, a urinalysis, a five-panel non-DOT drug screening with collection and testing included, breath alcohol testing, and an EKG. For blue-collar labor positions, the exam includes a medical history and physical exam, an audiogram, a basic eye exam, a urinalysis, a five-panel DOT drug screening with collection and testing included, and breath alcohol testing. For firefighters and first aid members, the exam requires a medical history and physical exam, an audiogram, and a basic eye exam. The agency requires all medical services and testing to be performed offsite at the vendor's own office location. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget and pricing structure for these services.
