Independent Audit Services

The government authority located in Christiansted, Virgin Islands, requires independent audit services for its financial statements. The agency is seeking to solve the problem of ensuring financial accountability and compliance for the fiscal years ending September 30, 2026, September 30, 2027, and September 30, 2028. The scope of work covers auditing the financial statements, including related notes and required supplementary information, in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and Government Auditing Standards. The selected auditor must perform all procedures necessary to obtain reasonable assurance that the financial statements are free from material misstatement. Additionally, the agency requires a Single Audit in accordance with the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements, which includes reporting on internal control over compliance for major programs and submitting all associated reports. Bidders must be located onshore within the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency expects the performance of the work to take place offsite over a contract period of three years. The agency is looking for budget proposals from bidders, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 5, 2026.
