The Lower Savannah Council of Governments in Aiken, South Carolina is seeking a vendor to deliver integrated nutrition and transit services across three counties. The agency requires these combined services to support qualified individuals, promoting their health, independence, and access to essential community resources. The transit scope of work encompasses four distinct transportation services. The selected provider must deliver group dining transportation to and from congregate meal sites, as well as social group transportation for beneficial events and activities. The agency also requires essential transportation starting from a single origin to a single drop-off point for multiple riders, alongside medical transportation to health facilities and resources. The nutrition scope of work requires the administration of group meal programs in congregate settings and home-delivered meal programs at individual residences. The provider must supply prepared hot, frozen, and emergency meals for both programs. Additionally, the agency requires evidence-based health promotions and educational activities that support healthy lifestyles and behaviors. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. The agency requires the selected vendor to perform all administrative and operational work offsite at the vendor's own office premises. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for this initiative. Bidders must submit all clarifying questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 1, 2026.
