Jail Health Care Services

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office in Mandeville, Louisiana is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive jail health care services for inmates. The agency requires a complete continuum of healthcare services, including daily medical care, infirmary care, and access to sick calls. The selected provider must supply all necessary pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, licenses, insurance, and everything required to maintain daily operations. The scope of work covers a chronic care program, annual tuberculosis testing, a communicable disease and infection control program, pregnancy management, and initial health screens. The agency is establishing a contract period of one year for these services. Performance of the healthcare work will occur offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-set funding limit.
