Professional Architectural and Engineering Design Services

The City of San Jose is seeking professional architectural and engineering design services to renovate and redesign a municipal workspace. The project addresses the need to modernize a multi-occupancy, multi-gendered restroom and transition a traditional office layout into an open communal area. To achieve this, the selected contractor must demolish existing walls that separate the private office from the communal work area, remove all existing cubicles and desks, and install new units chosen by the city. The scope of work requires comprehensive design and engineering services, including structural design, civil engineering, dry utility consulting, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. The mechanical design must encompass heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and plumbing systems. Additionally, the contractor must embed all wall-mounted electrical components within the designated limits of the work area. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States, and all performance of the work must occur onsite.
