Student Stipends Fiscal Agent Service

The government authority located in Providence, Rhode Island is seeking a vendor to serve as a fiscal agent for the payment of student stipends. The agency needs to solve the administrative challenge of processing student payments efficiently and ensuring internship readiness. The selected vendor will conduct virtual or in-person orientation sessions for students and families to review required paperwork. The scope of work requires the vendor to process each stipend request within two business weeks. The agency also requires alternative compensation options, such as gift cards, for students who do not have a social security number and are ineligible for traditional payroll.
