The Seneca Nation of Indians, a government authority located in Angola, New York, is seeking a contractor to provide full-year transportation services. The agency requires the use of small vans and passenger cars that comply with all school bus recommendations. These vehicles must feature the words "School Bus" printed in letters at least eight inches high, positioned as high as possible between the warning signal lamps on both the front and rear without impairing visibility. The agency requires all transport vehicles to be equipped with a communication system for emergency assistance. The selected contractor must assume full responsibility for planning routes to and from trip destinations in strict compliance with state routing guidelines. When assigning vehicles and determining seating capacity, the contractor must evaluate the ratio of adult passengers to student passengers and consider student age to ensure proper utilization of compartmentalized seating restraints. The agency is limiting eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The selected contractor must perform all transportation work onsite in the Angola, New York area. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget and will award a contract for a performance period of one year.
