Athletic Training Services

The Richmond, Virginia government authority is seeking professional athletic training services to support student-athlete health, safety, injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. The selected provider must deliver comprehensive medical services across high school athletics, athletic club activities, and middle school sports. This scope of work includes preparing athletes for practice or competition through taping, bandaging, and bracing, as well as implementing treatments and sports-specific rehabilitation programs. The agency requires the provider to apply first aid and emergency assistance as reasonable under the circumstances. The provider must also maintain complete, accurate medical records on all athletes and associated injuries. Additionally, the agency expects the provider to deliver education and instruction on injuries and injury prevention to athletes, coaches, parents, and administration. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency allows the performance of the work to occur either onsite or offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
