Drug Screening Services

The Taney County government authority located in Forsyth, Missouri is seeking a vendor to provide on-site alcohol and drug collection and testing services. The agency needs to solve the problem of maintaining a drug-free workplace and complying with testing mandates for county employees. The scope of work covers drug and alcohol testing for county agency employees who hold a commercial driver's license, as well as testing for pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return to duty, and follow-up scenarios. The selected vendor must conduct post-accident testing for any county employee and pre-employment drug testing for any prospective or new hire. The agency requires these services on an as-needed basis, twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, including federal and state holidays. The provider must conduct alcohol testing services, perform a five-panel drug screen using current procedures, and develop and administer protocols for mandated random drug and alcohol testing. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. While the testing collections occur on-site, the performance of the analytical work will be conducted offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not signaled a specific funding limit.
