Occupational Therapist Service

The government authority in Taylors, South Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide occupational therapist services across various school locations. The agency needs to address the educational and developmental needs of students by delivering both direct and consultative occupational therapy services in alignment with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP). The selected provider will help students progress toward their educational goals through targeted therapeutic interventions and collaboration with school staff. The scope of work requires the vendor to conduct educationally based occupational therapy evaluations and assist in developing IEPs and 504 plans. The provider must supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and serve as a clinical supervisor for assigned occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant college students. Additional responsibilities include attending IEP meetings, collaborating with IEP team members, educating assigned schools on school-based occupational therapy, and completing all required documentation in compliance with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), state licensure, and Medicaid. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The performance of the work will take place both onsite at the school locations and offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for these services, and bidders may submit their responses digitally via email or through the online portal.
