Workers\' Compensation Bill Review, Pharmacy Benefits and Physical Therapy Service

The county is seeking a vendor to provide workers' compensation bill review, pharmacy benefits, and physical therapy services. This initiative aims to establish effective and efficient medical bill review and check writing services for the county's entire workers' compensation program. The county requires a pharmacy benefit manager to deliver prescription benefit management services through a network of pharmacies. The scope of work involves reviewing all individual bills for medical services received by county employees for accepted industrial injuries. The selected vendor must reject or reduce payments for bills containing unauthorized or excessive charges. Additionally, the service provider must deliver a detailed accounting of all savings, duplicate bills, prescription charges, and physical therapy charges alongside each bill review and check writing services invoice. The requested check writing services must encompass Internal Revenue Service Form 1099 filing with associated follow-up, bank reconciliation, and bank fees related to processing. The provider must also interface with the Origami Risk Database, which is a web-based risk management software system. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The performance of all contracted work will take place offsite. The county is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Bidders must submit all questions no later than June 18, 2026, and they can submit their final responses digitally via email or online. The contract period will span two years.
