Design Build Services

The City of Atlanta, Georgia is seeking design-build services to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility across its jurisdiction. The agency is trying to solve pedestrian safety challenges by installing a mix of high-visibility crosswalks, signage, curb extensions, medians, refuge islands, rectangular rapid-flash beacons, and pedestrian hybrid beacons. The scope of work also requires the installation of sidewalks, curb ramps, and other accessibility features. The project covers the complete design and construction of these improvements at up to 240 sites over a three-year timeframe. The agency is issuing an initial contract period of one year. Eligible bidders must perform all work onsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of the project. Bidders must attend a pre-bid meeting on June 2, 2026. The agency requires all questions regarding this opportunity to be submitted no later than June 9, 2026.
