Financial Audit Services

The government authority in Lancaster, California is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive financial audit services. The agency needs an independent auditor to express an opinion on whether its financial statements fairly present its financial position and changes in financial position in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles. Additionally, the selected auditor must prepare a report for the Board of Directors and Management that identifies any control deficiencies, significant deficiencies, or material weaknesses, along with recommendations for accounting and administrative improvements. The scope of work requires testing internal control over financial reporting and compliance with laws, regulations, contracts, and grant agreements in accordance with Government Auditing Standards. The agency also requires the preparation of a single audit in compliance with OMB A-133. All project work will take place offsite, and the agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for these services. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. Bidders must submit any questions regarding the solicitation no later than June 3, 2026.
