Teachers of Tomorrow Program Services

The New York government authority is seeking a vendor to provide Teachers of Tomorrow program services to address teacher and subject shortages, particularly in districts with low-performing schools. The program aims to offer a variety of incentives to encourage prospective teachers to teach in these high-need areas. For the 2025-26 period, the targeted subject areas are Career and Technical Education (7-12), Language Arts (7-12), Library/Media Specialist (Pre-K-12), Mathematics (7-12), Sciences (7-12), and Special Education (7-12). The scope of work encompasses two distinct programs. Program One involves distributing grant funds on a competitive basis to eligible districts to fund recruitment and retention activities. Program Two focuses on allocating tuition reimbursement funds to eligible districts to attract qualified teachers who hold or will receive a transitional teaching certificate to teach science, mathematics, bilingual education, and English as a new language in low-performing schools experiencing shortages in these subjects. Only United States organizations are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The selected vendor will perform all work offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of these services. The agency requires all clarifying questions to be submitted no later than June 5, 2026. Bidders must submit a Notice of Intent by June 17, 2026.
