Pregnancy Fatherhood Program Service

The Contra Costa County government authority is seeking a vendor to provide a pregnancy fatherhood program service. The agency aims to prepare expectant and new fathers with newborn and infant care skills through ethnic-specific fatherhood programming. To address this need, the selected provider must establish formal partnerships with community-based organizations and collaborate with Prevention and Early Intervention Fatherhood Engagement Specialists across the state. The scope of work requires conducting outreach to 200 eligible, expectant, and parenting fathers annually, with all outreach documented in a web-based electronic database. The provider must recruit 50 eligible participants annually to participate in the program. Additionally, the subcontracting agency must hire staff members who possess core competencies in father engagement and ensure these staff members receive training on the program curriculum. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of all work to be conducted offsite. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for budget proposals to determine the project funding.
