Inmate Healthcare Services

The government authority located in Albany, New York is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive inmate healthcare services. The agency needs to establish an individualized treatment program that addresses the clinical and therapeutic needs of incarcerated individuals, including pregnant women. The primary goal is to deliver structured clinical support and continuity of care within the correctional facility. The scope of work covers intake screening and assessment to identify program candidates, as well as an opt-in treatment mechanism available at any point during incarceration. The selected provider must deliver peer support, group and individual counseling, and therapeutic programming with wraparound services. Additionally, the agency requires the continuation of methadone or buprenorphine maintenance, the provision of appropriate medications, and a formal review of the receiving screening. The project demands data-informed program management, cultural responsivity, and the establishment of collaborative relationships with community-based treatment providers. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based exclusively in the United States. The agency allows the performance of the work to be conducted offsite.
