Medical Surveillance Examinations and Occupational Health Services

The government authority located in Blackstone, Virginia is seeking a vendor to provide medical surveillance examinations and occupational health services. The agency requires these services to monitor employee health through baseline and annual surveillance, fitness-for-duty evaluations, exposure-related exams, firefighter exams, and Department of Transportation physicals. The selected contractor must provide a Board-eligible or Certified Occupational Medicine Physician to conduct these job-related physical examinations and offer occupational health consultation services. The scope of work covers performing vital signs assessments, including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, respirations, and temperature, on all personnel. The contractor must immediately communicate any questionable, critical, or follow-up screening results to the Occupational Health Manager by telephone. All services must be performed offsite, and the contract period will run for one year. Eligibility is restricted to onshore vendors located within the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. A pre-bid meeting will take place on June 2, 2026, and bidders must submit all questions no later than June 9, 2026.
