Health Equity Contractor Services

The New York State Department of Health in Menands, New York, is seeking a contractor to provide health equity services to support its prevention agenda. The agency needs to identify partnership, training, communication, data utilization, and health equity needs among local health departments, hospitals, community-based organizations, and other prevention partners. To solve this problem, the contractor must conduct and analyze a statewide informational needs assessment. The scope of work requires planning, coordinating, and facilitating a one-day prevention agenda workgroup meeting to present the assessment findings and engage stakeholders in structured discussions. The agency requires the contractor to develop agendas, facilitation materials, manage meeting logistics, and produce a summary report with regional engagement recommendations. Additionally, the contractor must maintain ongoing project coordination, participate in regular meetings, track participation metrics, and submit a final comprehensive evaluation report documenting outcomes and lessons learned. Eligible bidders must perform all work onsite and be located onshore within the United States. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to define the cost.
