RFI for Medical Services

The government authority located in Lakewood, Colorado is seeking information to identify vendors capable of providing comprehensive medical services to at-risk youth and young adults. The agency needs to support these individuals as they receive academic, vocational, and life-learning skills at its centers. The primary problem the agency is trying to solve is ensuring that enrollees and established students have access to integrated healthcare services, including medical, dental, mental health, and drug and alcohol intervention. The requested scope of work covers examinations, assessments, treatment, issuance of prescriptions for both controlled and non-controlled medications, and immunizations. Selected providers must monitor health conditions, recommend hospitalization when necessary, deliver follow-up care, and develop prevention planning and intervention strategies. The agency requires the integration of these medical services with other health and wellness components on site, alongside the management, written diagnoses, and treatment plans for students with chronic conditions or disabilities. Additionally, the scope includes treating acute conditions, providing education for health promotion, and maintaining a family planning program. All medical services must utilize the most efficient and cost-effective practices of contemporary, evidence-based healthcare possible within the available time, resources, and personnel. Bidders must perform the work offsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is establishing a contract period of one year and is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and pricing structure.
