Municipal Airport Professional Architectural Engineering Services

The City of Sierra Vista, Arizona, is seeking a qualified airport engineering and architectural consulting firm to provide professional services for its municipal airport. The agency requires assistance with the scoping, design, bidding or negotiation, and construction administration for several potential airport improvement projects. The selected firm will address infrastructure needs by installing new Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) sensors and designing and constructing a pavement preservation project on Runway 12-30 and a connector taxiway to Runway 30. The scope of work also covers the design and construction of a pavement rehabilitation project on the concrete apron, as well as general pavement maintenance identified in the airport pavement assessment. Additionally, the agency requires design and construction services for access, parking, aprons, taxiways, and utility improvements to support landside development on the north side of the airport. The contract period will span one year, and the performance of all work must take place onsite at the municipal airport. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and requires all questions regarding the opportunity to be submitted no later than June 1, 2026. Bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or through the designated online portal.
