The City of Florence, South Carolina, is seeking a qualified financial institution to provide comprehensive banking services for a contract period of five years. The agency requires a remote or desktop deposit process that allows staff to scan checks and transmit images and data for automatic direct deposit. Additionally, the agency needs MasterCard or VISA availability with competitive interest rates and no annual fees, subject to credit approval. The selected bank must possess the technology and systems capability for direct online communication with the agency. The scope of work includes daily forwarding of received tax payments, unlimited free transactions at the bank's ATMs, and electronic debit and credit capabilities for payroll direct deposit. The agency also requires free online banking services, online stop payment and void capabilities, online funds transfers, investment services, deposit reporting, and lockbox services. Eligible bidders must be United States organizations, and the work may be performed either onsite or offsite. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 16, 2026. The agency accepts proposal submissions either digitally via email or online, or physically via courier or post, and is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
