Utility Department Collection Agency Services

The City of North Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking a vendor to provide utility department collection agency services. The agency needs to recover outstanding debts through collection efforts that include letters, skip-tracing, telephone calls, and credit bureau inquiries. The selected service provider must perform all work offsite and must possess the capability to effect collections in all fifty states. The agency requires the service provider to bear all development and postal costs of any kind. The service provider must obtain written authorization from the city before settling any accounts for less than the total amount due. Additionally, the service provider must suspend all activity on any case or debt category immediately upon the written request of the city. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for budget proposals from bidders rather than providing a pre-determined budget limit. An optional pre-bid meeting will take place on June 2, 2026, and bidders must submit all questions regarding the opportunity no later than June 9, 2026.
