Medical Grade Oxygen Exchange and Rental Emergency Services

The City of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, requires a vendor to provide medical-grade oxygen exchange and rental emergency services. The agency needs to maintain a reliable supply of emergency oxygen cylinders to support its public safety operations. The selected provider will perform all work offsite, ensuring that the agency has continuous access to properly inspected, tested, and filled oxygen tanks. The scope of work requires the exchange of an average of forty-five "D" cylinders, two "M" cylinders, and four "H" cylinders per delivery. The agency also requires the vendor to provide an additional fifty percent of each cylinder size per delivery to accommodate periods of higher usage. Additionally, the vendor must pick up eighty-one "D" cylinders from 911 East Fifth Street, inspect them, test them, and fill them, exchanging all cylinders on a one-for-one basis. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is seeking proposals to establish a contract period that will run for three years.
