EMS Billing Services

The issuing agency is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive Emergency Medical Services (EMS) billing and collection services for transport clients and their insurance carriers. This initiative addresses the need for financial reporting, insurance carrier certification and accreditation, and analytical services related to ambulance transport billing. The scope of work covers the implementation and transition process, performance management of current accounts receivables, identification of outstanding issues, and analysis of strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improved performance. The selected vendor must handle billing, payment, and claim processing, as well as patient, payor, and client management. The agency requires the ability to verify insurance eligibility utilizing software and commercial databases prior to submitting any claim for reimbursement. The project requires comprehensive accounting and reporting for all billing activities. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of all contracted work will take place offsite. Bidders must submit proposals digitally via email or through the designated online portal.
