The government authority located in Oregon is seeking a contractor to provide professional towing services. The agency requires all work to be performed in a safe, courteous, and respectful manner by drivers carrying official company identification. The primary goal is to establish a reliable towing rotation that responds to authorized dispatches based on specific tow classes and zones. The scope of work covers towing services for a minimum of Class A vehicles, motorcycles, small boats, and utility trailers. Drivers must update their status to "In Tow" through the dispatch system immediately upon departing with a loaded vehicle. The agency also requires the contractor to move cars off the road at emergencies and congestion scenes at no charge when passing by, and allows subcontracting for extraordinary equipment like cranes or hazardous material cleanup. Eligible bidders must be located onshore within the United States and must perform all work onsite in Oregon.
