Construction Manager at Risk Services

The Town of East Hartford, Connecticut is seeking a vendor to provide construction manager at risk services for an upcoming project. The agency requires a construction manager to review plans and specifications prepared by the architect and make constructability recommendations. The selected partner will solve the challenge of maintaining budget alignment and schedule adherence throughout the pre-construction and construction phases. The scope of work covers detailed construction cost estimating services, including preliminary, interim, and final cost estimates for each project element. The construction manager must develop pre-qualification standards for all trade bids after reviewing them during pre-construction. Additionally, the agency requires the provider to generate and regularly update construction schedules, lead weekly construction meetings, prepare change orders, and manage payment requisitions.
