Sustainable Rural Healthcare Workforce Building Service

The agency is seeking a vendor to provide sustainable rural healthcare workforce building services, strategic leadership, and operational support to advance rural healthcare transformation initiatives. The selected partner will assist in developing and implementing innovative strategies to strengthen rural health systems, improve access to care, and support the evolving needs of rural and underserved communities. This role requires expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, program development, outreach, contract and grant administration, and technical assistance. The scope of work covers strategic planning and program development, which includes assisting with programmatic strategies, workplans, timelines, and performance measures. The vendor must facilitate engagement and collaboration among healthcare providers, emergency medical services agencies, hospitals, tribal health organizations, educational institutions, community-based organizations, professional associations, local governments, and state and federal partners. Additionally, the project requires supporting workforce recruitment, retention, training, and professional development strategies under the Building a Sustainable Rural Healthcare Workforce initiative. The agency also requires project management and operational support for its contracts, grants, and funding initiatives. The vendor must assist in developing and implementing evaluation frameworks, outcome measures, and performance indicators to support continuous improvement. All performance of the work must take place onsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget, and the resulting contract period will run for one year.
