Independent Auditing Services

The Angelina County Forest Land Municipal Utility District, or a similar government authority located in Lufkin, Texas, is seeking independent auditing services for a one-year contract period. The agency needs these services to audit federal and state grants, as well as all other programs, in accordance with the Single Audit Act and its amendments. This audit will cover the twelve-month period beginning October 1, 2025, and ending September 30, 2026. The scope of work also requires the selected vendor to prepare IRS Form 990, Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax, in accordance with current IRS requirements. The vendor must also file any necessary extensions in response to the IRS Form 990. The agency allows the performance of this work to take place both onsite and offsite. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this procurement no later than June 10, 2026. The agency accepts digital response submissions via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
