External Auditing Services

The City of Coral Gables, Florida is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive external auditing services. The selected auditor must express an opinion on the fair presentation of the government authority's basic financial statements. Additionally, the agency requires the auditor to prepare necessary management reports and any other reports mandated by regulatory standards. The scope of work covers the primary financial audit as well as potential ad hoc services at the discretion of the City. These additional services may include verifying data used in official statements, assisting with special financial projects, performing tax services, providing pension assistance, and delivering management advisory services. The agency is establishing a contract period that will run for three years. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the selected vendor to perform the work offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally, either via email or through the designated online portal, and the agency is currently open to reviewing all proposed budgets. The agency has scheduled a non-mandatory pre-proposal conference for June 9, 2026, to address initial inquiries. Bidders must submit all formal questions regarding the procurement no later than June 23, 2026. The evaluation will focus on the bidder's ability to fulfill the auditing standards and provide the requested management advisory support.
