Supervisor Leadership Development and Skills Training Service

The government authority located in Rochester, New York is seeking a consultant or firm to provide supervisor leadership development and skills training services. The agency needs to train current and prospective first-level and newly promoted supervisors, as well as all management employees, to improve their leadership capabilities and operational efficiency. This initiative aims to solve performance gaps by offering customizable courses in business coaching, relationship building, effective communication, time management, and leadership styles. The scope of work covers supervisory leadership development core skills training and supportive functions such as performance management, planning and organizing work, succession planning, and developing core systems for efficient workflows. The selected vendor must provide soft and hard-copy materials, including relevant books and e-books, and establish an online repository for student learning guides, course content links, resources, and completion certificates. Additionally, the consultant will conduct touch-point meetings with each participant's direct manager to guide on-the-job performance and offer student support outside of classroom hours for project assignments. Bidders must be located onshore within the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency requires the performance of all work to be conducted offsite. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
