Student Book Distribution Program Service

Carlsbad Municipal Schools in New Mexico is seeking a vendor to provide a Student Book Distribution Program Service to improve the literacy skills of kindergarten through fifth-grade students. The agency requires a program that allows students to independently select high-interest, age-appropriate books aligned with their reading levels and personal interests. Selected books must be delivered directly to students' homes throughout the 2026–2027 school year, and students will retain ownership of these books to build personal home libraries. The scope of work covers providing a curated catalog of fiction, nonfiction, bilingual, and culturally responsive titles that cater to early, emerging, independent, and advanced readers. The selected vendor must offer a secure, user-friendly, and multilingual ordering platform, along with a transparent content review and curation process. Additionally, the agency requires dedicated program management, a primary point of contact, and customer support for Carlsbad Municipal Schools staff and participating families regarding ordering, shipping, damaged materials, and account access. Bidders must perform all work offsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is seeking proposals to determine the budget and will award a contract for a period of one year.
