Environmental Testing Services

The Multnomah County Drainage District in Portland, Oregon is seeking a qualified vendor to provide environmental testing services. The agency needs to address environmental quality and resilience within its managed floodplain while promoting equity, social justice, and public education regarding the local infrastructure and history. To solve these challenges, the agency requires preliminary Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste assessment reviews, soil sampling, and comprehensive summary reports. The scope of work covers environmental sampling services and new initiatives aimed at improving water quality, restoring fish and wildlife habitats, and preparing the floodplain for climate change impacts. All performance of the work will take place offsite. The contract period will run for one year. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for cost proposals from interested parties. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 10, 2026.
