A Michigan government authority is seeking professional engineering services to upgrade its existing traffic signal equipment. The agency requires a vendor to perform surveying, soil boring for traffic signals, and construction plan preparation. The selected provider will also deliver Merl engineer estimates in PDF and XML formats, prepare proposals, obtain permits, and assist during both the letting and construction phases. The scope of work covers design upgrades for traffic signal equipment, including sixteen-load switch base-mounted controller cabinets, traffic and pedestrian heads, and pedestrian push-button actuation if necessary. The project also encompasses embedded loop or camera design, illuminated case signs, box span wire displays, signal support poles, supporting structures, and overhead illuminated street name signs. All work must be performed onsite at the Michigan location. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States.
