Employee Benefits Consulting Services

The City of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive employee benefits consulting services in support of the agency's health benefits programs. The agency needs to solve the ongoing challenge of managing, marketing, and optimizing its employee insurance offerings. The selected partner will review and advise on appropriate insurance coverage, market and place insurance policies, and issue requests for proposals to potential insurance carriers. The scope of work covers reviewing vendor contracts and evidence of coverage, coordinating with other agency benefits service providers, and participating in management benefits committee meetings. The agency also requires the consultant to act as a liaison and advocate with insurance companies, and to develop communication materials for annual online and manual enrollments. Additionally, the consultant must perform actuarial services, including annual cost projections, cost projections for plan modifications, and the determination of budget requirements. Bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. The agency requires the selected vendor to perform all work onsite in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The contract period will span three years, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
