Towing Service

The City of Ogden, Utah is seeking a vendor to provide non-preference towing and vehicle abatement services. The agency requires a service provider that can ensure rapid response times by maintaining a tow truck within a three-mile radius of the city at all times. The selected provider must also grant vehicle owners access to their towed vehicles twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The scope of work requires the provider to demonstrate access to a boom truck, a roll-off truck, and a large semi-size truck. The agency requires contingency plans for handling multi-vehicle incidents and a separate vehicle dedicated to completing accident scene clean-up. Additionally, the provider must detail its capacity to store personal belongings removed from towed vehicles and secure evidentiary vehicles in a safeguarding facility. Bidders must agree to offer a discounted rate to owners of vehicles towed in connection with these services. Eligibility is restricted to onshore, United States organizations only, and all work must be performed onsite in Ogden, Utah.
