Substitute Teaching and Paraprofessional Services

The Colonial School District in New Castle, Delaware is seeking a vendor to provide substitute teaching and paraprofessional services. The agency requires paraprofessional substitutes to cover absences where students require one-on-one personal assistance at the class C rate or a designated increased rate. The selected vendor must also provide substitutes for staff members who leave or call in after the school day has already begun. The scope of work requires the vendor to manage all employment services for the substitute staff. This responsibility includes handling payroll, Social Security contributions, unemployment contributions, worker's compensation costs, and record keeping. The vendor must also manage all state and federal reporting, and submit monthly and annual reports of substitute activity and expenditures to the agency. The contract period will span two years. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. Performance of the work will take place onsite or offsite, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
