Cloud-Based Enterprise Asset Management and Computerized Maintenance Management System, Technology Solution and Consulting Services

The City of Austin is seeking consulting services to help identify, assess, and procure a modern, citywide, cloud-based Enterprise Asset Management and Computerized Maintenance Management System technology solution. The city needs to solve the problem of fragmented operational data by centralizing asset management, work order processing, and capital project management across all departments, including streets, traffic, storm, parks, facilities, and fleet. The selected consultant will support the development and administration of a competitive procurement process and establish the requirements for the new technology solution. The scope of work covers developing a project management plan, schedule, and communication strategy to guide the procurement process. The desired technology solution must feature robust bidirectional GIS integration for asset mapping and tracking, maintenance history and lifecycle management, inventory and materials management, and mobile data entry with live updates. The consultant will perform all work offsite over a contract period of one year. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The city is looking for proposals to determine the budget and requires digital submissions via email or online. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 5, 2026.
