The scope of work requires the vendor to provide software that is fully compatible with the agency's current electronic patient care reporting system, ESO, and capable of receiving electronic billing data in real time. The vendor must verify insurance eligibility using available software and commercial databases before submitting any claim for reimbursement. Additionally, the vendor must file primary Medicare and Medicaid claims electronically, pre-screen all claims to confirm compliance with guarantor guidelines to prevent unnecessary denials, and participate in the county's annual fiscal year audit. Bidders must provide the agency with real-time access to patient account status, filing dates, and insurance payment data through an online portal. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations, and the selected vendor must perform all work offsite at their own office location.
