Workers\' Compensation Bill Review, Pharmacy Benefits and Physical Therapy Service

The county is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive workers' compensation bill review, pharmacy benefits, and physical therapy services. The administration aims to secure effective and efficient medical bill review and check writing services for the entire county workers' compensation program. The selected provider will review all individual bills for medical services received by county employees for accepted industrial injuries, rejecting or reducing payments for bills containing unauthorized or excessive charges. The scope of work requires a pharmacy benefit manager to deliver workers' compensation prescription benefit management services through a network of pharmacies. The chosen vendor must provide a detailed accounting of all savings, duplicate bills, prescription charges, and physical therapy charges alongside each bill review and check writing invoice. Additionally, the check writing services must encompass Internal Revenue Service Form 1099 filing with associated follow-up, bank reconciliation, and bank fees specifically related to processing. The designated provider must possess the ability to interface with Origami Risk Database, which is a web-based risk management software system. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The county allows the performance of the work to be conducted offsite, and bidders may submit their responses digitally via email or online. The county is looking for proposals to establish the budget for this initiative. The contract period will span two years.
