Accounting Support Services

The government authority located in Alhambra, California is seeking accounting support services to ensure accurate financial management and compliance. The agency needs to strengthen its internal controls, prepare for audits, and receive ongoing governmental accounting assistance and advice. This initiative aims to improve the accuracy of agency accounting and payroll data while building internal capacity through staff development. The selected vendor will perform ongoing reviews of payroll data, reconcile District accounts including interest, credit cards, payroll, and retirement, and assist with bi-weekly payroll journal entries. Additionally, the project requires providing mentoring, training, and technical support to the Business Manager, assisting with the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report preparation, and supporting financial forecasting for budget development. Bidders must perform all work offsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is requesting proposals to determine the budget for this initiative.
