Independent Audit Services

The Virgin Islands government authority located in Christiansted requires independent auditing services for its financial statements for the fiscal years ending September 30, 2026, September 30, 2027, and September 30, 2028. The authority is seeking to ensure its financial statements, related notes, and required supplementary information are free from material misstatement. To solve this, the selected auditor must perform all necessary procedures in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and Government Auditing Standards. The scope of work covers a three-year contract period to audit the financial statements and perform a Single Audit in accordance with the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements. The auditor must report on internal control over compliance, evaluate compliance for major programs, and prepare and submit all required reports associated with the Single Audit. All contracted work will be performed offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore bidders located within the United States. The authority is looking for proposals to determine the budget for these services. Questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 5, 2026.
