Utility Department Collection Agency Services

The City of North Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking a service provider to perform utility department collection agency services. The agency requires a partner to recover outstanding debts through letters, skip-tracing, telephone calls, and credit bureau inquiries. The selected provider must have the capability to effect collections across all fifty states. The agency requires the service provider to bear all development and postal costs associated with the collection efforts. The provider must obtain written authorization from the city before settling any accounts for less than the total amount due. Additionally, the provider must immediately suspend all activity on any case or debt category upon receiving a written request from the city. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The agency expects the performance of all contracted work to occur offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to define the financial terms. The agency will host an optional pre-bid meeting on June 2, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 9, 2026. The agency will evaluate proposals based on the submitted bids and the ability to meet all stated collection requirements.
